答案 As can be seen in the pie chart, a major share, or 52.5%, of the electricity is used for heating rooms and water, followed by that consumed for ovens, kettles, and washing machines (17.5%). The remaining share is taken up equally by the category of "lighting, TV, radio", and that of "vacuum cleaners, food mixers, electric tools", with each representing 15%. I think two possible reasons might explain this consumption behavior. First, these households might be located in the high-latitude areas, which are prone to be affected by cold and even freezing weather. Consequently, these families have to use more than half of the electricity for heating purpose in order to keep themselves warm. Second, these households are quite modernly equipped, as another half of the electricity is consumed by various household appliances to serve the purposes of cooking food, keeping the house clean and entertainment. In final analysis, this pie chart explains that electricity is a vital part of our daily life, which not only meets our basic needs for survival, but also our spiritual needs for relaxation and enjoyment.
