答案 As is demonstrated by the chart, there is a series of figures showing the changes in the proportion of population aged 65 or over in Spain, Russia and France. From 1950 to 2010, the percentage of the population aged 65 or over in Spain and Russia experienced an obvious increase from around 8% to around 17% and 23% , and the percentage will not change remarkably in the following four decades. The percentage of population aged 65 or over in France did not change greatly in the past half of the 20th century but may increase sharply to 25% by 2050. There is no denying in saying that, in recent decades, the proportion of population aged 65 or over is steadily and continuously increasing due to the fact that people in developed countries are unwilling to give birth to babies owing to some economic or social factors. It is not hard to understand that with the development of science and technology, people’s living quality has been greatly improved and their life span obviously prolonged, which, directly or indirectly, leads to the phenomenon reflected by the chart. So what will be the possible tendency of the phenomenon reflected by the chart in the future? From my perspective, the proportion of population aged 65 or over in Spain, Russia and France will in general keep increasing in the following decades.
