The picture intends to condemn the despicable act of selling counterfeit products and appeal for integrity among traders. In my opinion, integrity is very important for traders. Those who risk their future with the short-sighted gains from counterfeit products will ultimately find themselves out of business. Most consumers care more for the quality of the merchandises than what the sellers crow about. Just like the old man in the picture, he looks carefully for integrity although there is a board on the wall saying that this is a "shop of good faith". If the merchandises are counterfeits, consumers will find out one day and they will never trust the shop again. To tackle this problem, a nation-wide credit system must be established. The credit file of traders and manu facturers needs to be maintained by the relevant departments and made public. In this way, we can crack down on the manufacturing and selling of counterfeit products.
