答案Personally speaking, the most important things to my friend are to fully immerse himself in the culture, and to be very careful with his money and possessions. Firstly, assimilating into the culture as much as possible is very important. Almost always, when foreign students come to China, they still speak their mother tongue and stay in the dorms. They leave China with not much more knowledge or understanding of the country than before they came. To really understand China, my friend should talk to locals, go to parties, see films in the theater, flirt with women or men, try the food, and maybe even get a part-time job. Secondly, I would suggest my friend stay safe and cautious. I would never want to see my friend get pick-pocketed, robbed, or cheated. One must be careful around strangers in a new environment.
