Have you enjoyed nature lately? Our nature tours emphasize all of the natural, cultural, and historical highlights of the Mears Woods areas. All of our tours are led by expert naturalists, and each one does nature research personally to ensure maximum interest.
This spring, we’ve brought back our popular day tours of Dunley Park. During the tour, professor Jane Woodward, a noted local ecologist, will guide you around the stream, woods, and meadows of Dunley Park.
You will begin your itinerary at Greenview Station, where you’ll board our tour bus. Next, you’ll enjoy a peaceful stroll through the eastern orchards and meadows of Dunley Park. A short stroll will then take you to the wooded Vista Point area, where you enjoy bird-watching or simply relax in the cool shade. After that, you’ll then ride a shuttle bus to get to Dunley Park’s lovely public gardens. We will then re-board our tour bus and head to the local farmer’s market, where you can sample fresh organic produce.
The tour runs every Saturday from 2 p.m. and concludes at 6 p.m.
Tour prices are as follows: Kids under 8—$10 per person Adults 8~64
$20 per person Adults 65 and older—$6 per person Groups of 10 of more people—$16 per person
