The bar chart reveals a phenomenon that with information technology and the internet developing rapidly, an increasing number of people are choosing electronic books, and there is a growing tendency for paper books to decrease. But in the short run, electronic books, which are considered as a more convenient reading choice, may not replace traditional paper books. So in the following decades, paper books will still play a dominant role in our daily reading. Taking an objective and rational attitude toward the fact reflected by the bar chart is very important. People should be fully aware of the advantages and disadvantages of reading electronic books before purchase. There is no denying in saying that reading electronic books may bring great harm to our eyesight.
