This phenomenon has aroused hot discussions. As non-profit organizations run by the government, museums play a significant role in preserving our cultural heritage and promoting our traditional culture. However, without the free admission policy, some low-income people could not set aside money for admission charge. Therefore, this policy means to attract more people to museums, which will provide people with an access to knowledge. However, some people argue that free admission will undoubtedly add economic burden on museums. In addition, the increasing number of visitors becomes a headache in light of security. In my opinion, I am absolutely in favor of this practice. The reason lies in the fact that the government should provide more opportunities for citizens to explore the local culture. Furthermore, kids and teenagers can gain more knowledge through vivid ways in museums. In a word, I hope all people can share the same national treasures in more museums with free admission.
