By the end of 2020, China had 73,000 institutions engaged in intellectual property services, with total employees surpassing 865,000. While in 2015, the number of institutions was 37,000. It was almost doubled in only 5 years. There are two main reasons for the increase. On the one hand, the state attaches great importance to intellectual property work. In 2019 and 2020, the Chinese government issued relevant policy documents. The development of intellectual property provides a guarantee for the long-term development of China’s economy. On the other hand, Chinese people are attaching more importance to and protecting intellectual property rights. This is of great significance, for example, in stimulating people’s enthusiasm for scientific and technological research and literary and artistic creation.
