It brings people together by creating a climate of openness and sharing. Last, it also contributes to learning. However, some have suspected that the arrival of the Internet has done more harm than good. To begin with, the online information may not be reliable and accurate. Thus there is a risk for people to be misguided. Furthermore, your personal information online can be used without your consent, which will lead us to serious trouble. Finally, some spend more than the fair amount of time on the Internet, which not only causes obesity but also affects people’s social interactions. I personally think the benefits outweigh the harm and the Internet will bring more dramatic changes to our lives.
