答案 As is subtly shown in the picture, a tree is growing vigorously in the bright sunshine, yet there is a long shadow behind it. Below the picture goes "Where there is sunlight, there is a shadow". The picture unveils a simple but significant truth: sunshine and shadow will be accompanying us in the whole life, and all we can do is to take a dialectical view towards them. This picture reminds me of a Greek poet, Homer. He, born in a family of noble descent, suffered from blindness at an early age, but never lost heart throughout his life. Instead, he kept on learning and later created two great epics—Iliad and Odyssey which have being remembered till now. Just as Homer, every life has its thorns and roses. But we cannot only see the dark side but ignore the bright side, and vice versa. When you are enjoying a moment in the limelight, you are supposed to be cautious of hidden risk. On the other hand, when you fall into darkness, you should make all efforts to find the light of hope. In conclusion, sunlight and shadow always coexist in life. What we can do is to embrace the sunlight and face the shadow simply because there is no sunlight without shadow.
