答案 The traditional event that I would like to describe is that of dragon boat racing. There is a big competition each year and teams from all over the world come to Hong Kong to participate in it. I have been to watch it a few times and have really enjoyed myself each time. The boats are decorated in traditional styles and, of course, the front of each boat is cut into the shape of a roaring dragon’s head. The oarsmen—there are only a few women’s teams—need to be very strong and train for a long time before the event. The crowds are always very large and many people wear dragon badges or hats. There are always a few people who wear a headdress like a dragon’s head. Although the dragon boat racing is the main event, there are also many stalls selling various items—and snacks and drinks for the crowds.
