With more and more demands on teamwork no matter in daily life or at work, everyone should train his ability to cooperate with others. In order to make best of teamwork, it is of great necessity to make out its importance. Firstly, it is convenient for a team to collect more useful information. We, now, live in a world of information, one of the crucial premises for a team to be the winner lies in its ability to collect information. Collecting information suggests not only putting all messages found from the Internet or books together but also including the process of screening, keeping useful information while weeding out useless one. Comprehensive and brief information will lay a firm foundation for a team to work better. Secondly, teamwork can help with the improvement of work efficiency. There is an old saying that when everybody adds fuel, the flames rise high, which highlights the importance of teamwork. Division of responsibilities, utilized to save time and money, has been a main principle for a company or an organization to survive. What’s much more important, however, is to combine all individual work as a whole properly, which makes high demands of team cooperation. If it can work well, more time and money will be saved while more profit is made. Thus, to work efficiently, it is unavoidable to resort to teamwork. Last but not least, teamwork, as a mainstream of social development, exists everywhere in our life. Only for existence, not to mention the pursuit and obtainment of happiness, we cannot do without the ability to work harmoniously with others. In the highly developed society today, it is almost impossible to accomplish anything without joint efforts. Every loaf of bread, every article of clothes, every house or apartment, every means of transportation is the product of cooperative efforts. We play with other children in kindergartens; we study with our classmates at schools; and we will work with our fellow workers or colleagues in factories or companies. What we have got through teamwork is not only self-improvement and personal success but also the satisfaction at our devotion to common causes and the sense of collective honor. Therefore, to meet the needs of both personal improvement and the sophisticated society, we should learn to cooperate with and adjust to each other. Only in this way can we achieve success and satisfy ourselves as well as the society.
