    If teenagers study abroad, they can be quite familiar with the education system in the foreign country because they study abroad from middle or high school. By the time they get into college, they can easily get accustomed to the college life for they have already been immersed in the foreign environment and culture.

答案 Children Should Not Be Sent to Study Overseas at a Young Age In recent years it has been popular in China to send teenagers to study abroad at a young age. More and more parents follow this trend because they believe that foreign education is superior to China’s. In their opinion, the earlier the children are sent abroad, the better they can master a foreign language, merge into a foreign culture, and prepare for the forthcoming college life. But some experts hold the opposite opinion that studying abroad at a young age is no good for children for they may face great challenges in their daily life and study. As far as I am concerned, sending children to study abroad at a young age is not as beneficial as some parents expect. It is a big change for a young child to transfer from home to a strange foreign country. Without the supervision and guidance of their parents, they are very likely to be cheated by others or even make serious mistakes. What’s worse, most teenagers cannot lead an independent life. Their lack of basic living abilities may affect their study and even harm their mental health. In addition, it is difficult for these teenagers to fully understand a foreign culture especially when they are not old enough to know about their own. Last but not least, due to lack of self-control, it is hard to guarantee that they will study hard abroad. From what has been mentioned above, I believe it is advisable that parents send their children to study abroad when they are mature enough.
