Reading classics plays a significant role in forming the right value and aesthetic since classics are the positive outcomes of wisdom. We are able to learn much knowledge and experience by reading books, especially during our childhood. It can help us dip into the sea of knowledge in all kinds of field including philosophy, physics, and science, etc. However, nowadays less and less people enjoy reading books or writing since they have several ways of entertainment such as watching film or television, playing video games and chatting with friends through phones. Young people are more likely to indulge in these relaxing but meaningless activities. What’s more, some people even think reading and writing are useless because when we need to look up information, the Internet will present what we need in a nanosecond. In my opinion, writing and reading are still important in our life. As a college student, it’s our responsibility to read more books in no matter study or spare time.
