It is true that a high priced hotel usually means better facilitates and services, but the budget we have are often limited too. As a result, we have to consider this money issue. Last but not least, when we are making efforts to choose a relatively economical hotel, we should remember another rule; that is the hotel we choose should match the identity of business visitors, at least not degrading them. This is not only a matter of respect but sometimes a matter of deciding of whether the business will be successful or not. As long as we make a good balance among the above three factors, we will do a good job in such hotel selecting issues. B. Every manager wishes to employ an excellent secretary to help him. The problem lies in how to select the right person from some hundreds of candidates. When come to the question of employing a secretary, I think we should take three important factors into consideration, namely experience, skill, and personal qualities. As we all know, secretary is not an easy job. It is impossible for the manager to teach his secretary how to make arrangements or other things alike. Experience therefore plays an important role. This suggests that when we choose that person, we should choose those highly experienced. Second, we should make sure that the person we employed is qualified for his job. That is to say, he should be equipped with the skills required for the job. Last but not least, the person chosen should have good personal qualifies. As the secretary will often be exposed to business secrets, if he or she is not honest, he may sell these secrets to other companies, and this will cost a lot to the company. As long as we follow the above standards, we could hire a satisfactory secretary.
