答案 It is universally acknowledged that every event consists of the process and the result. As to which matters more, there is no unanimous answer. Some people are in favor of the results. Insisting on the belief that the end justifies the means, they argue that the results are the thing which counts in the end. Some others, however, believe that the processes should be more valued than the results. To begin with, the process affects the result to a large extent. As the old saying goes, "No pains, no gains". Generally speaking, the result is more likely to reach our expectation if we exert all our efforts in the process. In addition, the process itself is a rewarding experience whatever the result is. For example, in the preparation process for a contest, we’ll never know for sure the outcome. Nevertheless, after going through the process of preparation and competition, we will find benefits are reaped whether we win or not. The latter opinion makes more sense to me. As can be seen from the discussion above, the process orientation can not only help achieve better results but also enrich experience of the people concerned.
