However, the boy who threw away the meal didn’t feel a bit of ashamed. The picture reveals a hot anti-common issue of waste among the younger generation, which is worrying our teachers and parents. As is known to all, expending thoughtlessly or carelessly on campus has become a more and more serious problem. We can easily see a large number of students dump a lot of food in the garbage can. Money doesn’t grow on the tree. They grip money from their parents so they don’t know how hard it is to earn money by themselves. They also don’t realize the hardworking of the farmers when they discard the rice and forget that our country is still poor and a good many of people in poverty have no enough food to live on. I can’t imagine the serious result if the trend goes on. It is high time, I suppose, that educationalists, teachers and parents took out efficient and effective methods. We have to prevent this phenomenon from going further.
