Veteran British designer Katharine Hamnett took a sobering anti-war stand on the occasion of London Fashion Week on Tuesday, sending her models down the catwalk in "Stop War" T-shirts. Hamnett was determined to speak out in protest against U. S. and British preparations for a possible war against Iraq over its alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction.
