How have developments in technology affected people’s reading?
选项
答案
Paper books used to be the major form of reading, however, with the development of technology, such as the invention of the Internet, cellphones and other digital devices, the way people read has largely changed. Traditional reading has evolved to e-reading. Tiny, portable devices like Kindle enable people to buy books online and read anytime and anyplace. Thanks to the Internet, people can now read the latest works of authors from the other end of the world more conveniently, and this actually encourages people to read more about other cultures. Finally, reading on social media, such as Twitter, enable more interaction between readers and writers. So, I can safely put it in this way that development in technology has drastically changed people’s reading.
