The average time spent on the Internet was about 19.9 hours in June 2012, then it climbed to 21.7 in June 2012. However, there was a sudden decline in the average time from 25.9 hours in June 2014 to 25.6 hours in June 2015. Several reasons account for that. Firstly, with the development of technological and society, Chinese people have easier access to devices such as laptop, smart phones and i-pad so that they can surf the Internet whenever and wherever they like.
