答案 Environmental Protection Is More an Action than a Word Nowadays as the environment is deteriorating, the environmental protection is becoming a matter of concern for more and more people. But to say is one thing, to do is another thing. To most of them, environmental protection is nothing but a slogan. To me, the wrong practices in the environmental protection are as bad as the direct environmental pollution. Firstly, many individuals hold the idea that factories are the contributors of pollution, and that their daily life has nothing to do with contaminating. In fact, pollution has close connection with people’s daily life. The household garbage, such as plastic waste and disposable tableware, is the main part of pollutants. The exhausts emitted by the private cars are also harmful to the air. Many a little makes a mickle. So each person should take the responsibility of protecting environment. Secondly, the excessive or wrong promotion of environmental protection is also the environmental pollution. A telling example is the leaflets of the environmental protection. College students always give out leaflets to ask people to save the earth,but this kind of advertising is not only a big waste of paper,but also brings a lot of garbage. From the above, environmental protection should be more an action than a slogan, especially to individuals. We should preserve the environment and do it from little things,from ourselves,from now on.
