But as the drawing indicates, Earth does not receive a merciful treatment. On the contrary, one of the biggest "gifts" that we give the Earth is an unbelievable amount of trash. Obviously, the picture shows that garbage pollution arouses little public attention. The past century has witnessed an unprecedented increase in garbage, most of which are technological products that are difficult to be decomposed through natural processes, such as plastics and glass. Furthermore, several major Chinese cities are reported that they are already surrounded by a large amount of trash in the suburban areas, which seriously pollutes air, water, and soil.
