The expansion of the national revenue leads the international tourism no longer luxury, thereby making increasing numbers going abroad. Unfortunately, thanks to many countrymen’s lack of the basic courtesy of public space, the international tourism triggers the cultural shock. The case—two Chinese tourists humiliated the airline stewardess onboard, making the flight back to Bangkok in December 2015—illustrates this point well. One plausible reason is the difference in culture and language. However, the root cause is that they fail to fully understand each other’s ways of life well. In many cases, it is not because Chinese tourists are in want of accomplishment, but because they are, without proper guidance and supervision, unfamiliar with the local customs and manners. It is apparent that, if left unchecked, the cultural conflicts will lead to the international disputes and incur irredeemable losses. Therefore, the government is suggested to tighten regulations and cooperate with the media to promote moral education. And compatriots must improve the ideological cognition and strictly regulate our own behaviors.
