Students are encouraged to develop more skills and interests, like doing sports, painting, and performing the arts, rather than merely learning Chinese and mathematics. Homework is significantly reduced, and students can spend more time on extracurricular programmes, camps or travel. It’s great to see that change because scores can’t define a person.
