答案 On Tourism in Colleges In large cities in China where most prestigious universities are located, tourism in colleges has become a new selling point. It is not surprising nowadays to see many organized groups paying a visit to college campuses, including students whose parents hope to weave a college dream in their heads, the elderly who come back to recall the good old days and the middle aged men who have never been to college before but hold it as a sacred place deep in the heart. Indeed, tourism in colleges has met people’s needs and has substantial social benefits. It opens the environment of higher education to a valuable interaction with the public. In tins way, it allows the society to gain an unbiased and all-rounded understanding of college education which embraces and welcomes diversity and free minds. The youngsters, the future of the nation, can also take such opportunities to feel the atmosphere of how students doing study and research in universities. Nevertheless, mere are minor drawbacks like pollution and noises that might interfere with some of the school’s day-to-day management. But in my mind’s eye, those drawbacks cannot outweigh me benefits the tourism brings. Tourism in colleges is an industry worthy of expanding.
