答案 Why Do People Like to Try Their Luck on Lottery Nowadays, caught by the spell of the lottery, many luck triers are fond of buying all kinds of lottery tickets, such as welfare lottery tickets, sports lottery tickets, and even computer lottery tickets. The purpose of buying such tickets is to materialize their colorful and fanciful dreams. As a matter of fact, most people can’t resist buying some whenever they see them. Some even spend hundreds and thousands of Yuan to buy them so as to increase the possibility of winning the prize. Why do so many people try their luck on the lottery tickets? Ostensibly, there are many reasons for it, and the primary reason for the majority of lottery goers is to realize their long-cherished dreams, such as to own a car, a luxurious flat, even to become super rich overnight. In reality, most people deem it as an interesting way to make donations to society. However, lottery is a kind of public drive which benefits the society. Thanks to the participation of so many people, a great deal of money is accumulated through the drive to promote our welfare. Thus in this way the heavy financial burden on the government is greatly relieved. To sum up, lottery does no harm to the luck triers but much good to the nation.
