Television can also play an educational role in our daily life. With the development of science and technology, more and more people want to receive higher education. However, the number of universities is limited and can not meet the needs of the people. So television arranges educational programs to offer many courses of college level. Television has become a social university which provides millions of people a chance to receive education of higher learning. However, television can also be harmful. In order to increase the number of audience, quite a few programs even use pornographic films as a stimulant to attract viewers. This is a criminal offence. As I know, such things are not allowed to appear in television in our country.
