"I live on the first floor," Dick says. Their friends ask them, "Do you live on the same floor?" Bruce answers, "No, Dick lives on the ground floor." Dick answers, "No, Bruce lives on the second floor." Do you know why? Because "the ground floor" in England means "the first floor " in America.
