答案 When will the Entrance Fee Increase Come to Its End? This cartoon features a scenic spot with its gate shut and walls towering and surrounded by visitors. Yet instead of entering it, all the visitors get their glimpse of the spot by standing on others’ backs or shoulders. The caption " Entrance Fee has Increased" accounts for their behavior in the way that the entrance fee has been raised too high for visitors to afford. This cartoon reminds us of a unique phenomenon in China that the entrance fees for scenic spots experience a habitual rise every year prior to the Golden Week. Ostensibly, the managers of the scenic spots are to blame, since they are profit-oriented, and fail to see an inch beyond their noses. Regardless of the damage to the scenic spot’s reputation, they care solely about the immediate earnings they can obtain. However, the deep reason is the irrational stipulation of the Golden Week, during which the spots are swarmed with visitors. But few visitors can be seen there during the rest of the year. On the basis of the analysis above, only by reforming the current vacation regulations can the problem be solved permanently. If annual leave is enacted in the Labor Law, there is no need for people to flock to scenic spots at one time. At the same time, more strict laws and regulations should be enforced to prohibit scenic spots from raising their entrance fees as well.
