What we learn from books about history is still useful, but history cannot repeat completely, while using what learn about history or other areas, we must adjust the knowledge accordingly, and learn from the new situations. As technology develops rapidly, in the modern world, there are many new ways through which we can get knowledge, such as TV and Internet, and they are more efficient and convinient than the traditional way of reading. There is huge amount of information on Internet, much more than that contained in books. To sum up, books contain a lot of knowledge we need, but reading is not the only thing we need to learn; in modern world, there are many new ways besides books that could provide knowledge, and compared to books, they even contain much more information.
