答案 This is an unusual cartoon, appealing, thought-provoking and worth the attention of anyone interested in personal development. In the picture, a man, represented by the thumb, is accusing the four other people, which are symbolized by the four fingers. Unfortunately, he does not realize that other four people are looking at the accuser himself for any possible shortcomings. It is clear that when one slates others, one should be aware that he or she may be the one who deserves criticism the most. The implication of this cartoon can be exemplified by my personal example. Once I went to the park nearby to fly my kite. When I arrived at the park, to my astonishment, I found a big scrum of people only on one side of the open space. And the kites are nearly entangled. How stupid they were, I said to myself and went to the other side of the open square to fly my kite. However, as I flew the kite, I had to move gradually backward to keep the kite in the air. In the end, I found myself rolled into the scrum. This experience of mine teaches me a very important lesson; one ought to examine himself carefully before criticizing others. On the other hand, when we are criticized by others, we should pay serious attention and have high tolerance towards these criticism. We must read them not to understand others but to understand ourselves. This attitude will be beneficial to both ourselves and criticizers.
