答案 Do Clothes Make a Man? An old saying goes like this: "Clothes make a man". This reveals people’s universal belief that appearance plays a vital role in relation to others, especially in times of first meeting. Good appearance or "packaging" can leave an indelible impression on others and sometimes may even contribute to your success. Nowadays more and more young people attach greater importance to "packaging". They spend a lot of money and energy carefully "packaging" themselves to make them look smarter. For these people, smart appearance means good manners and a positive life attitude. It is true that these fashion-conscious people have made our life more beautiful and colorful. However, "over-packaging" may lead to some problems. It is human nature to pursue beauty ,but it should be limited to a reasonable scope. If a vast sum of money and time is spent in following fashion, less energy and effort will be left for work and study. In addition, fashion does not mean everything. The judgment of a person is mainly based on such internal qualities as knowledge, devotion, intelligence, diligence ,etc. Therefore, clothes do make a man, but do not make a perfect man.
