Would you say cities have changed much in the past decade?
选项
答案
Yes, I believe so. The cities in my country indeed have gone through some tremendous changes in the past decade. Because of urbanization, many new buildings and facilities were built. For example, more and more skyscrapers, mushroomed in the city; many cities built subways to improve the quality of residents’ life; sea-crossing bridges were also built to promote both sides’ development. However, more and more people swarmed into cities, which puts a lot of pressure on hospitals, transport, and schools. So, the government built more those facilities to solve the problem The service industry has been developing greatly in the past decade, especially take-out service and express service. In a word, the cities have changed enormously.
