答案 Nowadays, public spotlight has been shone on the phenomenon that some teachers, especially those in primary and secondary schools, apart from teaching in class, are busy getting themselves involved in paid private lessons. Most people think that this practice brings shame on the so-called "sacred duty" of the teachers, which has long been perceived as a selfless art of imparting knowledge and educating people. A few other voices are standing on the side of these teachers in that they believe these teachers have rights to earn money on the ground of mutual willingness between themselves and students’ parents. As I see it, teachers should be banned from making money by means of paid private lessons as those lessons may lead to certain sacrifice of public education. Moreover, teachers who are often compared to gardeners should devote themselves to the career of cultivating students—the flowers which represent the country’s future.
