The portion of the trip which fell short of expectations was the day-long bus excursion down the cast to Periwinkle Beach and back. While the scenery was breathtaking, the bus ride was dreadful. The driver was surly, and he played the radio over the loud speaker system. Over 20 passengers were forced to hear this noise. The hotel we stayed in was not the three-star hotel as the travel agency promised. The air-conditioner and the shower were all out of order.
