答案　　Air pollution is a very serious problem in China, especially in recent years. The most obvious sign of air pollution is smog. Severe smog has become a normal phenomenon during winter in the north of China. The level of PM2.5 sometimes reaches an astonishing high of 300. This means that staying outdoors can be harmful. The visibility is very poor as well. It’s a little bit like London in the 1950s. The air pollution issue is caused by the emission of gases such as carbon dioxide from factories and coal power plants.
