(4) They argue that problems like the risks of storing waste are small and can be further reduced by using the latest technology in newer reactors. (4) Besides, the operational safety record of nuclear power plants has been excellent compared to the other major kinds of power plants. (6) In my opinion, nuclear power remains a perfect alternative of fossil fuel and shouldn’t be abandoned due to some minor problems. After all, nuclear power has caused far fewer accidental deaths. Energy production from coal, natural gas, and hydropower has caused far more deaths due to accidents.
