    二是希望你们努力学习中国文化、结交中国朋友，并把赞比亚文化传统以及赞比亚人民的友好情谊带到中国，成为增进两国人民相互了解和友谊的使者。
    最后，希望你们学有所成、报效国家。我看到，大家选择了工程、医学、电子信息技术、金融、国际贸易、国际政治等诸多学科进行深造。赞比亚是一片充满希望的发展热土，中赞合作前景广阔，这必将为大家未来施展才干提供广阔空间。我期待着大家顺利完成学业，投身到促进中赞交流合作的事业中去!

答案First of all, please allow me to extend, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Zambia, my warm congratulations to all the scholarship recipients and their families. Education is the foundation for building the nation. It is also a key area of China-Zambia cooperation. Right now, there are about 1, 700 Zambian students studying in China, most of whom enjoy Chinese government scholarships. I am glad that, in response to Zambian students’ growing interest in studying in China, the Chinese Government has given a record number of 49 scholarships to Zambia this year. This is a good example of close people-to-people exchanges between China and Zambia. Here, before your departure, I wish to offer you my own advice. First, I hope you will seize the opportunity to study hard. You have outperformed many other candidates to receive this hard-won opportunity. As you will face a totally different linguistic, cultural and living environment, I’m sure you will be able to overcome difficulties and meet challenges, make full use of your time to study hard, so that you will live up to the expectations of your parents and your country. Second, I hope you will learn Chinese culture and make Chinese friends. I hope you will bring to China the fine Zambian cultural traditions and the friendship of the Zambian people, and become envoys for greater understanding and friendship between the two peoples. Lastly, I hope you will apply what you have learned in China to serve your country. I note that you will take up engineering, medicine, IT, finance, international trade, international politics and other disciplines. Zambia is growing fast and has a promising future. Our cooperation has broad prospects. All this will offer you a great opportunity. I hope that after completing your study in China, you will work to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
