Yes:
Daycare centers can provide children with professional childhood education, because generally there are well-trained teachers in daycare centers to teach children different skills, such as dancing, singing and painting through various activities. More opportunities are provided in daycare centers for children to play with their peers, which can not only facilitate social interaction, but also increase their sense of unity and cooperative consciousness.
Living in daycare centers helps children gain independence and confidence since they can do things by themselves and have more freedom in making their own choices.
No:
Normally, there are more than twenty or thirty children per class in daycare centers. However, only two or three teachers are assigned to take charge of one class. Therefore, children are less likely to get one-on-one care because of the limited number of caregivers.
Children may not get as much love and attention from the caregivers in daycare centers as from their relatives. For instance, grandparents always have enough time, patience and love to take care of their grandchildren.
Children may be ill-treated by caregivers in daycare centers. Some of the teachers can easily lose temper and get angry at the children who have no defense.
Write your response on ANSWER SHEET THREE.

Should Working Parents Send Their Children to Daycare Centers? When asked about whether they should send their children to daycare centers, working parents may find it hard to come to a consensus. Those who advocate the idea of sending children to daycare centers believe that children can get better professional education which they can’t receive when watched over by their relatives. What’s more, children can make more friends in daycare centers. Most important of all, children have more opportunities to build independence and confidence in daycare centers. But the opponents hold the viewpoint that children can get one-on-one care at home, which is almost impossible in daycare centers. They also think children can get sufficient love when taken care of by relatives because of the blood bond. Last but not least, children may be maltreated since not every teacher in daycare centers is kind and full of love. From my point of view, working parents had better send their children to daycare centers in spite of those disadvantages, because children can communicate with others there, which has a positive influence on the formation of children’s character.
