答案 It is true that everyone likes and needs money. Without money, we cannot buy food, clothes or other necessities. Without money, we cannot go to theaters or other places for entertainment. Almost everything in our life costs money. No wonder, some people believe that money is the most important thing in their life. But in my opinion, there are certain things that money cannot buy. For example, a millionaire who suffered from serious cancer was willing to buy his health at the expense of his whole fortune, but he failed and soon died in despair. For another example, a beautiful young girl married an old man for his money, would she live a happy marriage life even if she had a lot of money but no love? Definitely not! Many other things such as friendship, honor, are invaluable, and they cannot be bought with money. So money is far from omnipotent. On the other hand, money can also bring misery. Money is so useful that everybody seeks to possess it. Due to the lust for money, some people do not care by what means they get it. They might steal money from others, rob banks, or even kill people to get money. For money, some high officials take bribes and live a corruptive life. Some people even want to use money to buy special rights and power. Therefore, money has its evil side if we do not know its correct meaning. Money can be a curse if we do not know how to handle it properly. Of course, the amount of money we possess is not definitely in proportion to either the happiness or the misery it brings us. What matters is not how much money we possess, but how we get the money and how we use it.
