Weston Public Library is a mid-sized public library in Weston City. The Library is an independent school district library, governed by a board of Trustees and funded by state income and municipal general property taxes. In addition to its primary clientele, Weston Public Library serves residents of Watie County, particularly those in several western suburbs.
The main library has recently had expansions and remodelings to the original Jackson building and most of the parking spaces. The Weston Library provides free and ample parking space for visitors.
To ensure that only legitimate library researchers and visitors use the parking space, the parking space custodian will issue parking tickets to motorists who enter the area to park their vehicles. These parking tickets will be electronically stamped with the time of entry. They will serve as your entry pass to the main library and must be presented to the library clerk for validation when you finish using the library facilities.
The stamped ticket must be presented to the parking space custodian when driving out from the parking area. Motorists with no parking tickets or those who present tickets without the stamp of the library clerk will be charged $3 for every hour that their vehicles were parked in the area.
