Of course, there are many other influences. In my opinion, many countries are long for hosting the Olympic Games not only because of the visible economic interest but also the spiritual civilization. As we all know, each Olympic Games has a resonant motto, taking Beijing Olympic Games’ motto as an example, being faster, higher and stronger, which means such a spirit can be adopted in everybody’s life and work, spurring people to overcome any difficulty and conquer any challenge. A good example that echoes this spirit is Zhang Haidi. In spite of her physical disadvantages, she has yield numerous works and translations. All in all, the Olympic Games is popular in the world. On the one hand, it provides a place where athletes can compete with each other fairly and go beyond themselves. On the other hand, people in the world can be encouraged by the spirit of Olympic Games.
