She’d check the props and blocking carefully before rehearsal. She was meticulous about every detail. She was also a sharp observer. I played a passer-by in his 60s, and Katherine helped me design my costume and the way this character would walk on the street. More than that, Katherine could play every character. She never gave orders without listening to what the others wanted to say first.
