Students may be criticized by their parents or teachers [1] possibly because they have done a bad job in exams. [3] When criticized, some people become annoyed and [4] try every possible means to defend themselves, regarding criticism as injustice or nonsense. However, others hold that criticism will help them get aware of their shortcomings, so criticism may become a good chance of success in their life. In my opinion, while criticism makes unpleasant feelings, we should not [5] turn a deaf ear to it. Actually, criticism [6] contributes to good results in most cases. [7] Just as the Chinese saying goes, "Good medicine that tastes bitter will help one’s illness."
