答案 Competition and Cooperation It is known that with the rapid development of science and technology of modern society, competitions in all respects are becoming tougher and tougher. However, competition does not repel cooperation. For example, competition between enterprises can force them to adopt new technologies or to introduce advanced equipment to improve the quality of their products. As far as the two enterprises are concerned, they can well exchange their respective advantages and avoid disadvantages through cooperation, thus further promoting their production or services, which, in return, will make them compete at a much higher level. In study, competition may create a good atmosphere of study in which students are making great efforts to catch up with each other. But on the other hand, if they can cooperate, like working together to find out what subject a student is good or poor at, they will better develop their superiority and discard their inferiority, which might greatly improve their school performance. Therefore, competition and cooperation should not be regarded as entirely contradictory. They should go hand in hand and might well be incorporated into one another. We should learn to cooperate in competition, which in return, will stimulate us to cooperate better.
