答案 The bar chart shows the age distribution of Internet users in 2011 and 2012. As can be seen, there is not much difference between the two years, with 10-39 years old being the most dominant population, accounting for over 80% of the Internet users. The 40-49 age group and 50-59 age group take up about 12% and 4% respectively. In addition, those who are under 10 years old and above 60 years old combined to only contribute roughly 3%. The survey results attest to the fact that quite many Internet users are youngsters. They are either the digital natives, meaning that they were born into a digitized world, or digital immigrants, who witnessed how their life has been digitized and shaped by technology. It seems that nobody will be immune to the digital influence, and digital literacy has become a key competence in modern society. It is, therefore, fair to say that more Internet users are expected and they will be more evenly distributed among different age groups.
