First of all, forests bene fit our life greatly. For instance, a forest is usually com pared to "the lung" in the local area, which helps clear the air. Besides, the forest is also helpful in preventing soils from being washed out. Despite its immense value, forest is sometimes destroyed to make way for industrial crops or property development.
