答案Question 1 I would oppose the plan to build an airport near my community. First of all, one of the biggest disadvantages is the noise. When airplanes take off and land, they make a huge noise that is very unpleasant for residents living near the airport. Also, an airport requires a large amount of land. To have enough space for an airport would mean using up some of the countryside or agricultural land. This is not very good for the environment, and local wildlife would be endangered. On the other hand, more and more people are flying for business and for pleasure. Having an airport nearby is very convenient for going on trips. Also, an airport is a big business and would create a lot of jobs for local people. But having said that, I would prefer to travel further to an airport than to have one close to my house.
