    Very soon she saw a dull(呆滞的) brown skylark. The little girl smoothed out her blue-and-yellow blouse. "My goodness!"She thought,"doesn’t look important. "
    The skylark walked along the ground,then she ran a little way. "Why,she doesn’t even jump,"thought the little girl. "What a VERY dull bird she is indeed. "And she cleared her throat(嗓子)，getting ready to sing.
    Suddenly the lark leaped into the air. Beating her strong wings up,she flew,head to her wing. And she sang!
