答案 Study Abroad With the economy of our country developing rapidly, people’ s life style and the way of thinking are changing in different ways. More and more parents incline to send their children abroad to get higher education. Many college students are straining themselves to pass TOFEL and GRE instead of concentrating on their own academic study. Some people proclaim that education systems in western countries, whose emphasis on initiative , independence and creativity, are more advantageous than that in China. Moreover, people can naturally pick up a foreign language once they are in that circumstance. And a different cultural may broaden their horizon and enrich their life experience. Some people, however, oppose studying abroad for the following reasons. First, the language barrier and different traditions and beliefs may cause great trouble for the newly arrived students, who often find themselves isolated and hard to get involved into the mainstream society. Second, though many people are rich enough to afford it, it is still a quite heavy burden for most of Chinese families. Third, higher education in China is improving tremendously, capable of providing education of high-quality. For my part, studying abroad can be beneficial when we can afford it and are well equipped with language skills and cultural knowledge. We can also stay at home and make good use of all the educational resources to enhance ourselves.
